Itinerary
Night 1: Take overnight train from Hanoi to Lao Cai
Please, be ready at your hotel lobby at 19h.30 for a short transfer to Hanoi railways station. Tonight you will travel to Lao Cai on sleeping train in the most comfortable 4 bed cabin of Victoria compartment or in 2 bed deluxe cabin of other train carriage.
Day 1 // Lao Cai // Sapa Town’s Highlights
The train arrives in Lao Cai early at about 06.00, meet your guide as you check out the station. In a private car, you will travel uphill the Hoang Lien Son mountains to Sa Pa and enjoy as many stops as you wish for over views of valleys and terraced rice fields as well as magnificent scenery.
Breakfast and check in Victoria hotel upon arrival to Sa Pa if your room available. Later your guide will show you around this charming town for a brief introduction. Ten minute walk from Victoria hotel, you will be the market where ethnic minority people of different groups wearing their traditional costumes made by themselves comes every day selling local products includes vegetable, bamboo shoot, mushroom, medicinal herbs and souvenirs…there are chances to get intact and taking photos. Later you will follow the footsteps uphill to the top of Ham Rong Mountain for over viewing beautiful scenery of the town and surrounding area, paying visit to an orchard garden and a mini museum which tell you a lot about ethnic minority people living in Sa Pa and the northwest.
Evening is set free at your leisure. You may have dinner at the fine restaurant of the Victoria
Hotel or your guide may help you to book a table in a chosen restaurant in town.

Day 2 // Silver Waterfall and Tram Ton Pass // Muong Hoa Valley // Eco Lodge
After Breakfast, Local guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and then drive up hill to see the famous Silver Waterfall and then onto Tram Ton, the highest mountain pass in Vietnam at 1,800 m above sea level for enjoying the magnificence of Hoang Lien Son Mountain Range as well as over viewing spectacular landscapes of the whole area, stretching endlessly. Drive back to Sapa and check out your hotel after Lunch. You will take a drive along the only road through the beautiful Muong Hoa Valley and enjoy several stops for enjoying breathtaking landscapes and paying visit to some small hamlets of the Black H’mong, Red Zao and Zay along the way.
In middle afternoon, you will arrive at the Eco Lodge which is built in a perfect location on the two corn-shaped hills, deep in the pure nature of Sapa. Check in the Lodge and free time to relax.

Day 3 // Full day joining a tribal traditional market // Overnight train to Hanoi
Depending on what date it is today, you can choose one of the market available for your interest in our market list and we shall refine a detail itinerary and activities.
After a day joining locals and enjoying their market atmosphere and activities, you will arrive Lao Cai Station at about 6.00Pm, having a shower before boarding the overnight train for Hanoi which arrive the next morning and trip ends.
